Achieving Success Through Rewiring the Subconscious Mind
"People think I'm the one controlling their minds, but hypnosis is actually a hyper state of suggestibility," Hypnosis expert Trudy Diraj shares with us.
Hypnosis is a powerful technique that allows you to tap into your subconscious mind while being in an alert state. Diraj tells us that we have two forms of consciousness, 1. The conscious mind governs our awareness. (i.e., the sky is blue, my shirt is red, I live in Florida, etc.) 2. The subconscious mind governs our unconscious behaviors. (i.e., beliefs, habits, values, etc.)
This powerful and profound method can be used to enhance our quality of life and state of peace and confidence. In addition, hypnosis is used for many personal struggles, including weight loss, quitting smoking, self-motivation, enhancing focus, and relieving anxiety and depression.
Hypnosis assists us in strengthening our minds and overcoming challenging obstacles through impacting the subconscious mind. For example, a person who knows they want to lose weight knows what to do and how. However, when it comes down to execution, they are unable to follow through. Intelligently, they know what to do, but the subconscious mind is responsible for habits and behaviors.
These conflicting thought patterns within the conscious mind and subconscious mind can be problematic. However, hypnosis builds a connection with the conscious and subconscious mind, allowing us to regain control.
Diraj said, "once you break the barrier of the subconscious, magic happens."
Hypnosis is tremendously powerful for anyone open to change. However, it is no magic pill.
Diraj told MindfulBody News, "People that don't want to change or find it difficult to change are constantly fighting with their conscious and subconscious minds. As a result, there is a constant internal conflict that drains your energy. You can push yourself for one or two days, but it becomes challenging because it is too much to handle. With hypnosis, we can resolve the conflict where your conscious and subconscious minds are on the same page."
Diraj has witnessed many breathtaking transformational processes with her clients. She describes that the way we are today is a product of how we interpret our life experiences. For example, if someone has a tough childhood, they can look at it in 2 ways.
1. "I had a tough childhood, and that's why I am stronger; I am hardworking."
2. "I had a tough childhood, and that's why I am weak; I am rejected."
Having self-limiting beliefs is very common; the key to overcoming them is to observe ourselves without judgment and to take action! We all experience hard times. However, the good news is that we have the power to change our reality by addressing the underlying subconscious thoughts associated with the obstacles we are facing.
Diraj works with adults and children. She shared with us, "I work with kids taking SAT that are terrified to take the test. And they improve their performance and help them get into college or changing their perspective on studying. I teach kids how to create focus and improve their attention."
